Production Supervisor

Responsible for supervising daily production activities, managing manpower, maintaining production quality and efficiency, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and on time.

About the Role

Supervise production operations according to the production plan, allocate manpower, monitor production processes, maintain quality and hygiene standards, reduce wastage, and ensure smooth coordination between production and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise daily production activities as per production plan.
* Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
* Monitor production targets, output, and efficiency.
* Ensure proper operation of machines and equipment.
* Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage.
* Maintain production records and reports.
* Ensure GMP, hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards.
* Monitor product quality during production.
* Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, Stores, and Production In-Charge.
* Identify production issues and report them to the concerned department.
* Train and guide production workers.
* Maintain discipline and proper work practices on the production floor.
* Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of the production area.
* Follow company SOPs and work instructions.

Requirements

* Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Production, Engineering, or related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in production supervision.
* Experience in food manufacturing preferred.
* Knowledge of GMP, food safety, hygiene, and production processes.
* Ability to manage manpower and production activities.
* Willingness to work in shifts if required.
