Web Developer / E-commerce Store Developer

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer / E-commerce Store Developer who can manage and develop Shopify and custom websites, resolve technical issues, improve website UI/UX, and develop new features and functionalities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of modern web technologies and hands-on experience with Shopify, React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Liquid.

About the Role

The Web Developer / E-commerce Store Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the company's websites and e-commerce stores. The role involves Shopify development, custom web development, website troubleshooting, UI/UX improvements, product listing, and implementation of new website functionalities.

The candidate will work closely with the e-commerce, marketing, and management teams to ensure websites are technically efficient, user-friendly, responsive, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites.

Develop and customize Shopify stores according to business requirements.

Work with Shopify Liquid for theme customization and development.

Make UI changes and improvements to Shopify websites.

Develop custom websites and web applications.

Develop and implement new website functions and features.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve website errors and technical issues.

Fix bugs, broken functionalities, and website performance issues.

Improve website UI/UX based on user behaviour and business requirements.

Optimize website navigation, layouts, product pages, and other UI elements.

Manage and update Shopify product listings, descriptions, images, pricing, variants, and collections.

Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Optimize website performance, speed, and overall functionality.

Test website features and functionalities before deployment.

Continuously identify opportunities for website and user experience improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related field.

1–3 years of relevant experience in web development, Shopify development, or e-commerce development.

Hands-on experience with Shopify store development and customization.

Good understanding of responsive web development.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with other teams.

Experience working on live websites and e-commerce stores will be an advantage.
