QA & QC Officer

Responsible for maintaining product quality and food safety standards through quality inspection, testing, documentation, process monitoring, and implementation of QA/QC procedures.

About the Role

Monitor and verify quality at all stages of production, conduct inspections and testing, maintain quality records, ensure GMP and food safety compliance, and coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
* Monitor quality parameters during production.
* Conduct finished product inspection and testing.
* Ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
* Maintain QA/QC records, reports, and documentation.
* Monitor CCP/CP and other critical quality parameters.
* Identify non-conforming materials/products and take appropriate action.
* Coordinate with Production for corrective and preventive actions.
* Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
* Verify cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
* Handle customer complaints and support root cause analysis.
* Maintain laboratory equipment and testing records.
* Ensure proper sampling, testing, and retention sample procedures.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.

Requirements

* B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
* Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and quality control procedures.
* Good knowledge of quality documentation and inspection procedures.
* Ability to identify quality issues and take corrective action.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
